Such as collecting supplies for certain objects to be created. The writer's son was autistic. Which features are included in the educational version of minecraft and how useful do you think they might be as an educational tool? It teaches children simple things that we know of now such as if you put sand in a furnace it creates glass and a sword was made out of iron, it would be stronger than one made of wood. Why, does Bergensten suggest, have copycat versions of minecraft been less successful? NEWS VALUES

News values News today is converged and dispersed across a range of platforms with a huge range of sources/ producers including audiences who share the news and alter its meaning by adding their own hyperlinks and comments. News values systematically construct rather than simply accompany the gathering of news. These are not values consciously held by journalists. Most maintain the ideal of achieving objectivity or truth. Galtung and Ruge (1981) These theorists argued that news is structured according to unspoken values, rather than discovered. Frequency This value is to do with the time scale of events perceived to be newsworthy. In pre- web 2.0 days, stories which unfolded daily were flavoured. Now with a much faster news agenda, 24 rolling news channels, online and social, events need to be much more frequent to be favoured in new coverage. NEWSPAPER PROS AND CONS

Ask readers to write more - good idea as you are gaining free labour through what the audience enjoy doing for a living, thus gaining more profit if the paper sells well. Decrease the price of the paper or make it free - bad idea as decreasing the price will result in less to no profit as you would have to pay for the work of journalists etc and the production of the newspaper itself. Hire more journalists to cover a bigger range of events. Pros- More content from different perspectives and types of writing to discover and read about when published Cons- More money would have to be given out to pay the journalists and the more wanted the more money is lost to pay for content Put more ‘sponsored content’ online and in your paper. Pros-You get paid to advertise a product which may likely apply to the reader and apply to their interests while reading the online paper Cons- People try to get away from ads as over time it can get annoying and the page may become corrupt

Piece for the guardian Student life The contemporary society of student life has changed compared to a few years ago and continues to change and manipulate over time. A-levels, taken between the ages of 16 to 18, have changed over time just like GCSEs and university degrees. For example, this year the sixth form/college first years will not have to sit exams in their first year but will take their exams at the end of their second.
